“As a team of about 60 individuals working remotely from across the United States and in-person from two offices in India, we focus on both providing the tools to make virtual interactions seamless as well as providing regular opportunities for in-person meetings and events. Quarterly, we hold virtual "All Hands" meetings where we all come together to discuss what is going on in the organization and publicly answer anonymously submitted questions from the team. Periodically, we host ad hoc virtual events such as hackathons and viewing parties. Beyond this, we have a Slack app that randomly pairs team members up for casual meetings every week to foster community. Individuals in the US formally meet in-person at Quarterly Business Reviews which always include evening team-building activities. Individuals in India work in-person and participate in weekly activities together outside of work. Finally, once a year, we host a company offsite where everyone in the organization has the opportunity to come together to collaborate and take part in group activities.”
